1. Spanish-American Room
The United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary decorated this room in the style of an early 20th-century American parlor (1901-1906).

2. GFWCA Room
The General Federation of Women's Clubs of Arkansas calls this room a "new style parlor" (1870-1900).

3. 1812 Hallway
The United Daughters of 1812 decorated this beautiful stairwell and hallway (1800-1836).

4 & 5. Women's History Exhibit
"As Long As Life Shall Last: The Legacy of Arkansas Women" offers a glimpse into the daily lives and contributions of 19th and 20th-century Arkansas women.

6. DAR Room
The Daughters of the American Revolution decorated this room in the style of an English gentlemen's Enlightenment Era library (1750-1800).

7. Changing Exhibits Gallery
The larger of the two downstairs Changing Exhibits galleries, the exhibit, "Arkansas/Arkansaw: A State & its Reputation," is currently being shown here.

8. Treasurer's Vault
This space was converted into a vault for the state treasurer in 1867. The vault door and safe are original. It wasn't until the late 1970s that a doorway was created permitting passage between wings of the building. The space now serves as part of the adjacent Changing Exhibits Gallery.

9. Information Desk
Ask here if you have any questions about the museum or its exhibits and upcoming programs. Please take a moment to sign the guest register.

10. Museum Store
Shop the Museum store for exhibit-related souvenirs, gifts, and books. Open Monday through Saturday, 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum Store phone number is (501) 324-8653.

11. Changing Exhibits Gallery
The smallest of the Changing Exhibits galleries, a visiting exhibit, "100 Years of Scouting," is currently featured here.

12. Exhibit Posters
Beautiful full-color posters in the museum entryway identify current museum exhibits.

13. "Whistle Stop Station" Interactive Gallery

14-16. "Pillars of Power" Exhibit
The story of the Old State House's architecture, construction, and use is showcased in this exhibit.

17. Supreme Court
This space is currently used for museum functions.
