1. Spanish-American Room
The United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary decorated this room to recreate an early 20th-century American parlor (1901-1906).
2. GFWCA Room
The General Federation of Women's Clubs of Arkansas called this exhibit a "new style parlor" (1870-1900).
3. 1812 Hallway
The United Daughters of 1812 decorated this beautiful stairwell and hallway (1800-1836).
4 & 5. Women's History Exhibit
"As Long As Life Shall Last: The Legacy of Arkansas Women" offers a glimpse into the daily lives and contributions of 19th and 20th-century Arkansas women.
6. DAR Room
The Daughters of the American Revolution decorated this room in the style of an English gentlemen's Enlightenment Era library (1750-1800).
7. "Pillars of Power" Exhibit
The story of the Old State House's architecture, construction and use is showcased in this gallery.
8. Treasurer's Vault
This space was converted into a vault for the state treasurer in 1867. The vault door and safe are original. It wasn't until the late 1970s that a doorway was created permitting passage between wings of the building.

10. Museum Store
Don't miss the wide variety of exhibit-related souvenirs, period gift ideas and items of interest for kids at the Museum Store. Open during museum hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum Store phone number is (501) 324-8653.
11. Clinton Exhibit
The updated "From the Old State House to the White House" exhibit documents Bill Clinton's use of the Old State House during his presidential campaigns and features a special videotaped message from the former president.
12. Exhibit Posters
Beautiful full-color posters in the museum entryway identify current museum exhibits.
13. "Grandmother's Cottage"
In this hands-on exhibit visitors of all ages are encouraged to interact with a variety of objects from the 1930s.
14. Wilderness Exhibit
The "Wilderness" exhibit portrays Arkansas during the early 19th century at the beginning of American settlement following the Louisiana Purchase. At the time Arkansas had the reputation as the wildest of the wilderness areas on the west bank of the Mississippi.
15-16. Changing Exhibit Galleries
These changing exhibits galleries are slated to house a planned, high-tech Cyber Gallery of Arkansas and American history. Historically, the space housed numerous different courtrooms over the years.
17. Supreme Court
This space is currently used for storage, rentals, and museum functions. The necessary furnishings have already been collected to one day restore it as a courtroom.
