Sunday, February 28, 2010

Little Rock--Laissez les bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!) Bring your krewe to the Old State House Museum’s Mardi Gras Celebration on Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Visitors will find lawn of the Old State House, Arkansas’s first capitol building, colorfully decorated for the season. Fun, hands-on activities will be available to children: decorate a mask, make bead necklaces, and play old fashioned, Mardi Gras-themed games. In addition, everyone will have a chance to join in a Mardi Gras parade on the museum grounds at 2:00 pm, and then again at 3:00 pm. FREE and open to the public.

Admission to the Mardi Gras Celebration is free. For more information about this exciting event, please call (501) 324-9685.
