MABEL CLAIRE ERWIN PITTMAN THOMAS MARTINEAU
Wife of John Ellis Martineau, 28th Governor (1927-1928)

Mrs. Martineau purchased a gown imported from Paris at M. M. Cohn in Little Rock. Fashioned from apricot silk and velvet, the gown has a low, rounded V-neckline and an uneven, scalloped, tea-length hemline that revealed a pink silk slip. The bodice is heavily studded with rhinestones and bugle beads. Mrs. Martineau wore high-heeled silver sandals with her gown.
