For the inaugural reception Betty Bumpers wore an ice blue rayon dinner suit. The sleeveless, ankle-length dress has a smooth, fitted waist and a scoop neckline. It features a white panel that is accented with bugle beads, rhinestones, and glass beads that hangs from the neckline to the petal shape hemline. A matching jacket with straight, three-quarter length sleeves complements the dress with cuffs matching the center panel. The jacket is fingertip length and when worn with the dress gives a straight silhouette.
