Virtual Tour Reality! Tour The Old State House With Google Maps

Old State House Museum - Thursday, June 02, 2016

Did you know that you can use Google Maps to take virtual tours of the grounds and/or interiors of many historic sites, such as Gettysburg, Monticello, and now, the Old State House Museum?!

It's true!

Using Google Maps Street View, you can now "virtually" walk up the brick pathway, through the front door, and down the central hallway of the Old State House.

Use the navigation arrows which appear when you move your cursor around the viewing window. At the right-hand edge of the viewing window is a vertical navigation bar. At any point along your way, you can use the compass needle in the navigation bar to get a 360-degree view.

When you arrive at the stairways, click on the "2" at the top of the navigation bar and it will take you upstairs, where you can navigate to the center of the 1836 House of Representatives Chamber, one of the most historic rooms in Arkansas.
